DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE FUNDING, THIS IS ONLY FOR THOSE WORKING IN THE ROTHER CATCHMENT AREA – RIVER ROTHER & ITS STREAMS
The South Downs National Park Authority and the Western Sussex Rivers Trust invite you to attend a free training day designed to empower you to tackle Himalayan Balsam across the River Rother catchment. You will find out how to:
Identify Himalayan Balsam
How to manage it successfully
How to feed into national data by using INNS Mapper
How to add value and be part of the bigger picture
How to keep yourself and others safe around water
All you need to run a successful group session
Lunch will be provided, please email Amanda Swanson (Amanda.Swanson@southdowns.gov.uk) with any dietary requirements at least two weeks before the event dates.
Parking available in the South Downs Centre car park (free) or in the North Street car park (chargeable).
Two dates to choose to attend: Saturday 28th February 2026 or Saturday 21st March 2026.
