The island of Britain has over 10,000 miles of coastline, steeped in history and constantly shifting, changing, adapting and providing.
The Restless Coast is a moving and beautiful account of a journey around it, during which the author travels its length to discover its challenges and opportunities, and to talk to the people trying to protect it.
Join us for an evening celebrating Roger’s new book where our CEO Aimee Felus will highlight the intimate link between our rivers and coast. Roger will present the challenges facing our modern coastline and the champions who are working hard to improve things.
With wine and nibbles available, the celebrations will take place within yards of the iconic River Rother in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Books will be available to purchase and all proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the vital work of the Western Sussex Rivers Trust.
