Last week saw two brilliant events for our River Guardians and Riverfly volunteers.
Over two days, 25 volunteers enjoyed cream teas while discussing their water quality and rivefly data.
We also had a quick Cartographer session to build confidence in editing and downloading survey data from around the catchment.
On 21st July 20 volunteers also came together to discuss their collected citizen science data from around the Western stream catchment. A perfect opportunity for River Guardians to meet each other, as well as to hear from staff giving presentations on electro-fishing and environmental DNA surveys - which couldn’t happen without volunteer support.
